East: First Round
The 76ers take down the Wizards in 5 games. ✅ 76ers 4 Wizards 1
I expect a Sixers win in game one and a Wizards win in game two. This will lead to fear in the Sixers eyes and will then take the next 3 games and close the series and move on to the next round. Expect Embiid to average around 34 points per game in this series because the Wizards have 0 players to guard him.
Nets don't blink, take down Celtics in 5 games. ✅ Nets 4 Celtics 1
Losing Jaylen Brown makes this a tough matchup for the Celtics. If Brown was available, I believe this series would go 7 games because neither teams have a reliable center on their roster and it would be a major guard/forward series. I expect the series to be all Nets.
Bucks and Heat go the Distance, Bucks in 6. ✅ Bucks 4 Heat 0
A rematch of the 2020 NBA Bubble playoffs. We saw the Heat knock out Giannis and the Bucks but do not expect it to go that way this year. The Bucks are more sound this year even though their standing in the East doesn't show. This is a series that has a chance to go 7, but expect the Bucks to dominate.
Hawks vs Knicks, Hawks in 6 ✅ Hawks 4 Knicks 1
I honestly think the Hawks could shock everyone with a sweep but I will not go that far in regards to the Knicks fans. The Hawks have been slept on all season. They are stacked. They have a great starting lineup with amazing depth. Trae Young will dominate like usual and with Capella and Collins down low, it is going to be a lot for the Knicks to handle.
West: First Round
Utah is tested like never before against the Grizzles, Utah in 7.
This series is going to be a lot closer than people think. Ja Morant is on fire in the month of May and if he continues to roll, this is going to be a tough series. If Donovan Mitchell is not healthy for this series, this could flip in favor of the Grizzles. A 8 beating a 1 seed? It could happen.
Lebron and The Lakers dominate the Suns in 6.
The Lakers go into this series as the lower seed but still find themselves as the betting favorite. Well, that is because they have Lebron James and Anthony Davis. It is going to be difficult for the Suns to contain these two. Lakers will win this series.
Blazers pull the upset against the Nuggets, Blazers in 6.
Its Dame time, thats it.
Clippers and Mavericks go the distance, Clippers in 7
This series could get nerve wrecking and if Luka Doncic has anything to say about it, the Mavs will not go down lightly. With the Mavericks healthy and the Clippers still recovering from many injuries, Luka and the Unicorn may be able to take advantage of this. Clippers will pull it out though.
East: Second Round
Sixers once again dominate the Hawks, 76ers in 5 games.
Landing the 1 seed has become very beneficial for Philly. It gives them a much easier road that the Nets and Bucks. The Hawks just have not had their way against the Sixers this season and their lack of experience will lead to a second round bounce.
Giannis and The Bucks SHOCK the World, Bucks over Nets in 7.
"This writer crazy." Well, the Bucks have actually dominated the Bucks this season and that may continue. It is going to be surely hard to guard Giannis and finally the Bucks. have a defensive point guard for the playoffs in Jrue Holiday. This series could really go anyway but the Bucks are extra motivated this year and are sick about hearing "Nets this" "Nets that."
West: Second Round
Jazz escape the Clippers in 7 games.
The Clippers have decent big man but there is a mismatch against former Defensive player of the year in Rudy Robert. The Jazz's bench is dominate and have two finalists for Sixth man of the Year. It will be a close series and it could come down to a buzzer beater in game 7.
This may lead to a Kawhi Leonard off season exit from LA.
Lakers continue to roll, Lakers over Blazers in 6.
Playoff Lebron is in full force and he is not losing to the Blazers. Yes, it may always be Dame Time everyday but playoff Dame Time is not ready for Lebron.
NBA Conference Finals:
76ers and Bucks go the Distance, 76ers in 7.
The 76ers will truly be tested in this game. The 76ers defense has been dominate all season and they can sustain that against the Bucks, they can win this. Giannis will be very difficult to stop. The Bucks are going to be tired after a long and hard fought series against the Nets and will find themselves falling behind slightly against the 76ers.
Lakers don't even break a sweat against the Jazz, Lakers in 5.
