NBA Playoffs: Weekend Predictions

For starters, we may see another NBA Award revealed this weekend, which would likely be Rookie of the Year. This will likely go to LaMelo Ball with Anthony Edwards as a close second. LaMelo Ball returning at the end of the season really helped his Rookie of the Year campaign and take it back from Anthony Edwards.

Prediction #1: LaMelo Ball will be given the 2021 NBA Rookie Of The Year Award

The Celtics have looked invisible on defense this postseason. The Nets are flying on all cylinders and I do not expect it to stop now. The Nets are now up 2-0 in the series and the series have been all him. I expect the Nets to win on Friday night to take game 3. Following that they will close the series out on Sunday and get ready for their matchup with the Bucks.

Prediction #2: The Brooklyn Nets Take Out The Brooms: Sweep the Celtics

So far in the Hawks vs Knicks series, it has been a fight. The Hawks took game one after a great performance by Trae Young, and then the Knicks took game 2 led by Derrick Rose. The series is heading to Atlanta where Young and the Hawks will look to win both games at home. I expect it to go this way.

Prediction #3: The Atlanta Hawks take Game 3 & 4, lead the series 3-1

The Mavericks have been very sneaky this post season. So far they have taken game 1 & 2 and head into game 3 with the chance to go up 3-0 in the series. Luka Doncic of the Mavericks has the chance to single handedly change the future of the Clippers organization. The big question is what Kawhi Leonard of Los Angeles will do this offseason. The Clippers may fight back and take 2 games from Dallas, I expect the Mavericks to finish the series next week by a final record of 4-2.

Prediction #4: The Mavericks close the series next week and send Kawhi Packing, In Two Ways
