Are The Yankees Back?

Well, I guess it depends on what "Back" details.

Yankees have not played well to start the season but hey, winning 3 of the last 4 is a great sign right? Yeah, I would say so.

The New York Yankees have struggled this season to find any rhythm, offensively and defensively but against the Braves and so far against the Indians, their pace is starting to pick up. Torres is finally beginning to play at the rate Yankees fans expected him to play at. On Thursday, he made a huge impact in the Yankees offense, racking up 3 hits on the day. Though he was absent on Friday, he was there defensively, leading the pack out in the field. In their 5-3 win against the Indians on Friday, the bats were HOT. When falling down to a 0-3 deficit, Hicks started the offense with a home run. Following that Odor hit a two run home run and soon after, Stanton put another run on the board for the Yankees, sending the ball over the fence and giving him another home run on the season. Stanton was not done. Stanton was responsible for the Yankees next run as well, hitting another home run, giving him the second of the day. The hope is for this Stanton to come out and play night in and night out. The Stanton we saw in Miami. Is Stanton back? Who knows, but Yankees fans sure hope so!

The Yankees have a big test ahead of them on Saturday as Gerrit Cole takes the mound, facing off against former CY Young award winner Shane Bieber. If the Yankees can get themselves a win against Bieber, it could lead to a big momentum swing towards this long stretch for the Yankees.
