And just like that, we have found our one seed. Pepper Pack absolutely obliterated Washington Wiffleball Team by a score of 11-1. It was an all out team assault. The trio of Jack Powers, Paul Brecht and Casey Honigbaum all brought their best. Powers went deep three times, Brecht once and Honigbaum twice.
The final touches were also put on for a potential MVP season for Honigbaum. The right hander went the distance today striking out 17 and the only run came courtesy of a solo shot by Jakob Cohen.
With the one seed locked up, Pepper Pack sprints towards the semi finals. On the other end of the spectrum, Washington Wiffleball Team now has been locked into the 6 seed and they will face the 5 seed in the two inning first game of the play in tournament.
