Wegmans Wiffle Baggers vs The Prospects
In another game that was once again capped by pitching, Wegman’s Wiffle Baggers were able to squeak away with a win over The Prospects. Tyler Rogers went the distance for Wegman’s. The 6’7 right hander had command of his fastball all afternoon and proved that only one run was enough.
Tyler threw the first immaculate inning in Dart Diamonds history.
Sharing the mound with Rogers was MVP hopeful Ari Field. Field was the tough luck loser and his only blemish was a solo home run to Dylan Kanner
.
Kanner also made the play of the night. Pegging out Clay Oberholtzer as he attempted to go first to third with a toss on the run that nicked Clay. It was a play that went a long way in solidifying the 1-0 final.
Both of these teams, regardless of their seeding, are true championship contenders.
