After a tough loss in week one, The Four Horsemen bounced back this week and proved that they belong. They took the win by a score of 6-3
Pitching in the game was not spectacular, but it did enough to keep them in the fight, a very strikeout heavy performance. Brennan Miller started the game and struck out 9 in 3 IP, while allowing one run. Ben Bachrach then came in and shut the door in his first appearance on the mound this year.
Bachrach also brought out the big stick today, tallying a whopping FOUR home runs.
Ben Bachrach has come out of no where and is eyeing the MVP trophy after a dominant game on the mound and at the plate.
For The Washington Wiffleball Team, Mike Dirkes clubbed second and third home runs of the year and Hunter Ford launched his first.
A fun quick from this game was Jake Shelley. The right hander came in to pitch and recorded a 4 pitch inning. The quickest inning in Dart Diamonds history.
The Four Horsemen now sit at 1-1 and The Washington Wiffleball Team fall to 0-2 with a run differential of -8.
Final score
The The Four Horsemen: 6
