The Pepper Pack Continues to Dominate

Updated: Apr 29, 2021

In quite possibly the most dominant performance of the season, the Pepper Pack showed that their 3 headed monster-pitching staff is going to be tough to topple. The trio of Casey Honigbaum, Noel Foster and Jack Powers split the pitching duties and threw a combined shut out with 15 strike outs.

The Pepper Pack essentially ended this one as soon as it began and left little to imagination. Thanks to a lead off single by Powers and a homer by Honigbaum, the Pepper Pack were up 2-0 after the games first 2 pitches. The early scoring did not stop there as all 8 runs would be pushed across by the end of the 2nd inning.

A small bit of credit should rightfully go to Wegman’s Wiffle Baggers Ace, Tyler Rogers. He was able to hemorrhage the bleeding and shut out the scalding Pepper Pack bats for the final 4 innings.

With the win, Pepper Pack has jumped into first place thanks to their run differential of +12 and have still yet to allow a single run through two games.

The loss drags Wegman’s Wiffle Baggers down to 1-1, but they still sit in 4th place.

Pepper Pack: 8

Wegmans Wiffle Baggers: 0
